Two Pitchers Team Up As Grayson College Shuts Out San Jacinto College


Grayson College defeated San Jacinto College 8-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Slater Foust induced a fly out from T Schuetz to finish off the game.

Landon Staats earned the win for Grayson College. He went seven and a third innings, allowing zero runs, five hits, and striking out seven. K Roper took the loss for San Jacinto College. He tossed two innings, allowing four runs, and four hits.

Grayson College had nine hits in the game. Brady Manning and Seth Mullis each collected multiple hits for Grayson College. Mullis and Andrew Miller each drove in two runs to lead Grayson College. Grayson College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jackson Glenn had the most chances in the field with eight.

J Wiley led San Jacinto College with two hits in four at bats.
